Terms and Conditions for BlinkStudy Last Updated: January 30, 2025 Welcome to BlinkStudy! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BlinkStudy platform available at blinkstudy.in and our mobile applications. By registering and using BlinkStudy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account on BlinkStudy, you confirm that:

You are at least 13 years of age
You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
All information provided during registration is accurate and complete
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

BlinkStudy is an AI-powered educational platform providing:

Scan-and-solve functionality for academic problems
AI-generated video quizzes for JEE and NEET preparation
Whiteboard-style educational videos
Topic-wise quizzes and exam preparation materials
AI tutor assistance
PDF upload and analysis
Video notes and study materials

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & SECURITY

3.1 Registration

Account creation requires a valid mobile number
One mobile number = One account
You must verify your mobile number via OTP
OTP is valid for 10 minutes
Maximum 5 OTP attempts per hour

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
Do not share your account credentials with others
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
We are not liable for losses due to stolen/shared credentials
You must be the sole user of your account

3.3 Account Termination We reserve the right to suspend/terminate accounts for:

Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent activity or payment disputes
Sharing account credentials
Misuse of AI services or platform abuse
Providing false information

4.2 Pricing Terms

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes
Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance
Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
Promotional offers may have different terms

4.3 Billing & Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled
Payment will be charged at the start of each billing cycle
You can cancel anytime before the next billing date
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
No partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellations

5. PAYMENT TERMS

5.1 Payment Methods

We accept payments via UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Wallets
Payments processed through secure gateways (Razorpay/Paytm/Instamojo)
All transactions are encrypted and secure

5.2 Payment Failures

Failed payments may result in service suspension
You have 3 days to complete payment before account downgrade
Recurring payment failures may lead to plan cancellation

5.3 Taxes

Prices include all applicable taxes (GST)
Invoice will be sent to registered email/phone

6. USAGE LIMITS & FAIR USE

6.1 Daily/Monthly Limits

Each plan has specific daily/monthly usage limits (as listed above)
Limits reset at midnight (IST) for daily quotas
Monthly limits reset on subscription renewal date
Exceeding limits requires plan upgrade

6.2 Fair Use Policy

Services are for personal educational use only
Bulk downloads, scraping, or automated access is prohibited
Sharing account access violates Terms
Commercial use requires separate licensing

6.3 Content Restrictions You agree NOT to:

Upload copyrighted materials without permission
Submit inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
Use the platform for cheating in exams
Attempt to reverse-engineer our AI systems
Resell or redistribute BlinkStudy content

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1 BlinkStudy Content

All content (videos, quizzes, AI-generated materials) is owned by BlinkStudy
You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use content
Downloading, copying, or distributing content is prohibited
Watermarked content (Free plan) cannot be used commercially

7.2 User Content

You retain rights to content you upload (scanned problems, PDFs)
By uploading, you grant us license to process and analyze content
We may use anonymized data to improve AI algorithms

8. AI

-GENERATED CONTENT DISCLAIMER

AI-generated answers are for educational guidance only
We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee 100% correctness
Always verify important information from authoritative sources
BlinkStudy is not liable for academic outcomes based on AI content
Use AI tutor as a learning aid, not a substitute for teachers

9. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

(Detailed policy in separate Refund Policy page) Summary:

7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers
Refunds processed within 7-10 business days
No refunds for Free plan (no payment made)
Cancellation allowed anytime; access until period end

10. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We aim for 99% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
Scheduled maintenance will be notified in advance
We are not liable for service disruptions due to:
Technical issues beyond our control
Internet connectivity problems
Third-party service failures
Force majeure events

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

BlinkStudy is provided "as is" without warranties
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
Our total liability is limited to subscription fees paid in the last 3 months
We do not guarantee specific academic results or exam scores

12. USER CONDUCT

You agree to:

Use the platform responsibly and ethically
Respect other users (if community features exist)
Provide honest feedback
Report bugs or issues promptly
Not engage in fraudulent activities

13. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy
We collect and use data as described in Privacy Policy
You consent to data processing for service delivery
Mobile number used only for authentication (OTP via Renflair.in)

14. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We may update these Terms with notice
Continued use after changes = acceptance
Major changes will be notified via email/SMS
You can review current Terms at blinkstudy.in/terms anytime

15. TERMINATION

15.1 By You

Delete account anytime from Settings
Contact [support@blinkstudy.in] for assistance
Data deletion as per Privacy Policy

15.2 By Us

We may terminate accounts violating Terms
Immediate termination for fraudulent activity
7-day notice for other violations (unless severe)

16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Good faith efforts to resolve disputes amicably
Informal resolution preferred before legal action
Mediation in Patna, Bihar if needed

17. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by laws of India
Exclusive jurisdiction: Courts of Patna, Bihar
All disputes subject to Patna jurisdiction only
